Famous media couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce rumors have surfaced about a breakup contract going around on social media and news outlets. People are concerned if their relationship was just a big hoax to get more attention.

As of August, their relationship has been getting many negative opinions about whether or not they actually are attracted to each other. A screenshot surfaced around the media of a contract stating that they will break up at a certain point.

“Taylor Swift is known for going through a lot of breakups but this is the first time she’s been rumored to have a “break up contract’’ with them. I don’t think she would start now years later for attention’’ said Danny Mulato, a student of CCSD.

There’s a lot of confusion as to who even leaked the contract and if it’s photoshopped. Both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are aware of what is being shown and have both denied it with Kelce even taking legal action upon this drama. Kelce has gotten his lawyers involved, while Swift has chosen to not speak up much about what is going on.

“Both Taylor and Travis are extremely wealthy and known around the world, so it doesn’t make sense as to why they would fake their relationship for more media attention. Taylor especially has been busy going on tours so she wouldn’t need the extra attention’’ says Abel Wondrad, a student of CCSD.

Now that lawyers are getting involved, it’ll most likely be held privately. The couple has been spotted multiple times in public like the US Open in New York. They’ve both moved on from the drama and seem to still be together.

“If they’re still being spotted in public they’re most likely together and have just been avoiding the drama since especially Taylor has gone through a lot of controversy her whole career’’ said Asya Allen, a student of CCSD.
