However, Rose’s career took a tragic turn in the 2011-2012 season. In the first round of playoffs, he tore his ACL, an injury that would be a major setback of many injuries. Rose also struggled with recurring injuries to his knees, suffering many meniscus tears and numerous surgeries. Every time he returned the world watched with hope, but the relentless injuries continued to rob him from his prime.
