This May, moviegoers and superhero fans alike anticipate the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This movie follows as a sequel to the original Doctor Strange movie, which came out in 2016. This sequel follows fictional superhero Doctor Strange and his dealing with the “multiverse”, a concept that has been introduced in Marvel films prior, such as the most recent Marvel film, Spider-Man: No Way Home. 

If you are not already familiar with the Marvel franchise, this is a great time to catch up with the bingeable films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For those who are already familiar with the likes of Marvel, this film is highly anticipated as many questions have emerged over the years that are now convoluting into what is the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel. 

The popularity of recent Marvel pieces such as the television series Wandavision and Loki, and most recently the box office record breaking hit Spider-Man: No Way Home have only aided in the hype surrounding the upcoming release of the Doctor Strange sequel. In the recently released teaser trailer, Doctor Strange is shown opening portals into different realities, bringing weakness to the integrity of the universe and allowing threats to emerge. 

Although many details about the upcoming movie are still foggy and many questions continue to linger as to what will happen in the movie, the wait for the reveal of the plot will be worth it.
