The Desert Oasis Fashion club is on the lookout for students who might be interested in being a model for their fashion show.
The Desert Oasis Fashion Club is looking for models for their upcoming fashion show. The club shares when they would like to have people audition and when their deadlines are. The club states that their eventual fashion show will take place during the end of the year assembly.
The club adds that they will be getting in touch with the student council in order to get preparations for the fashion show in the gym. In order to do so, the club has discussed and explained how they would like to present their clothing and the theme to the audience. However, the club has decided to keep this information secret from others who are not in the club.
“We are looking for models to showcase our work and product, for them to bring life to our theme on the runway.” Pakhaporn Thoutawong, the fashion club Secretary states. “So far only around 10 people have signed up for auditions, but we would like to see more people and their model walks.”
Fashion club has sent out papers with QR codes letting students sign up and pick a day to audition to become a model. As well as that, the club members posted papers around the school, showing when and where they will be hosting the club, promoting their activities. The club asks for people to sign up ASAP if interested.
“I’ve been promoting the sign ups by asking friends of mine if they would like to model, that way more people would be interested.” The Vice President, Angelina Navarro tells us. “If needed, people can get in contact with the Fashion Club through our official Instagram or any of the council member’s Instagram.”
Over the past few months, Fashion Club has been hard at work, planning and designing for the fashion show; they’ve put together groups and teams of students to create an outfit based around their undisclosed theme. So far the council has shared that they’re teams have been hard at work since September, and still continuing to use their time to make and create these outfits.
The Vice President adds, “I believe the best way to display our clothing is to have someone be seen wearing them, and I think that anyone, regardless of physical appearance, can have the confidence to be a model.”
