The New York Jets’ star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, has been dropping hints about his return from injury.
Rodgers, who has been sitting on the sidelines for the past 2 months due to a torn achilles, seems to be prepared and quite eager to get back on the field.
The teasing began on social media, where @NFLGameDay shared, “#Jets QB Aaron Rodgers eyes a December return, with Week 16 being the most likely spot… if the #Jets are alive and he can protect himself; Meanwhile, the #Bills debut a new offensive coordinator today.”
The quarterback has commitment to return soon. The Jets, who have felt the absence of their player in recent games, are eagerly awaiting Rodgers’ return to their offensive lineup. Rodger is hoping to return for a team practice right before his birthday as well. Fox’s Jay Glazer has also shared on his Instagram (@jayglazer) that Roger has sent videos to fellow teammates of his working out.
“[Rodgers] is actually gonna go back to the Jets this week and start training with them, he actually sent the Jets video of him working out this week, it kind of blew their minds like ‘man, he’s a little bit further ahead than we thought. In Aaron Rodgers’ mind, he is telling the Jets, ‘I’d like to actually start practicing as early as December 2.”
The upcoming games will undoubtedly be crucial for the Jets. As the anticipation builds for Rodgers’ return, fans are excited as they speculate on how Rodgers’ return could shift the dynamic of the Jets’ season. The quarterback’s teasing through social media have only heightened the anticipation, leaving fans counting down the days until they see their favorite player back in action.
While the exact return date for Rodgers’ remains uncertain, one thing is for sure – when he does step back onto the field, it will be a moment of celebration for the New York Jets and their fans.
